A friend of mine told me about Wordless Wednesday today. For those of you who don’t know what this is (like me before today!), many bloggers put up posts with images, but no text, on Wednesdays. People can search for Wordless Wednesday to see a wide variety of images and find new blogs. I’m going to start participating.

I know what WW is but not the creature in your post ;) Does it happen to turn in to a beautiful winged creature someday I hope for its sake if not for ours. What is it about so many legs that just makes us want to go eek. Happy WW
No, this bug doesn’t turn into anything pretty. In fact, the adult is just about as gnarly looking as the larva in the picture! It DOES, however, only have 6 legs. All those other things sticking off the sides are gills. Pretty cool, eh? (Okay, maybe it’s only cool if you’re me…)
