This is what my backyard looked like yesterday:
… and after melting off completely today, is what it will look like again tomorrow. That’s not good insect weather right there… I’m really ready for spring!

Ha! We think winter is so bad here in the mid-Atlantic. I’m glad I’m not home in Chicago!

Compared to other places, my winter in Northern Virginia is relatively mild, but I am with you–I am ready for spring!
It got warm here briefly (in Texas) and insects started to come out! ….but then we’ve had snow and freezing rain for a few days :( I guess it isn’t quite spring yet.
Hope it’s better now! Funny how much change can happen in a few weeks!
I’m ready too…no snow here but a very cold northerly wind this week
Lucky! It’s snowed a lot more than usual here recently, and it’s supposed to snow again tomorrow afternoon. I’m REALLY sick of snow! I realize we haven’t gotten nearly as much as, say, Boston this winter, but I live in the south for a reason…
